Procurement Officer – Maintenance

What is the job:

Flow maintenance related job requests to relevant suppliers, to ensure the stores does not close nor loose sales due to any maintenance related issues. Give feedback in relation to work outstanding and in-progress as required. Be up to date with Purchase Orders, RFQ’s and loading of stock/paperwork daily as to not cause a holdup with month end and payment.

What will be expected of you?

  • Receive flow of maintenance/operational job orders from stores on the system with approvals of Area Coaches and ensure it contains the correct information.
  • Contact contractors and suppliers to do follow-ups and get ETAs on work to be done.
  • Ensure weekend standby logs are actioned on the system and that all logs are up to date per region.
  • Obtain and submit quotes for approval by Area Coach and Regional Coach’s
  • Action approved quotes with contractors once received.
  • Ensure jobs are completed on time for High, Medium, and Low priority.
  • Order spares as needed from suppliers for both internal and external contractors.
  • Complete and close logs once received via Infraspeak both internal and external.
  • Load quotes for priority work on the system as soon as it is received from contractors.
  • Assist finance with information needed to pay suppliers timeously.
  • Invoice internal job card spares as logs are closed off on Infraspeak.
  • Take phone calls in emergencies for immediate action and follow up that the logs get sent from stores.
  • Check emails to make sure that issues are dealt with in time.

Are you qualified?

  • Matric (non-negotiable)
  • Procurement/supply chain related diploma or qualification will be advantageous.

Did you do this before?

  • Relevant experience in supplier management of workflow, buying.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Conducting organizational and administrative duties.
  • Coordination of people and contractors and time
  • Understanding computer applications
  • Recording and reporting of Maintenace related queries

What is the job:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst specializing in Budgeting & Forecasting to join our FP&A team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with expertise in developing accurate budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance.

What will be expected of you?

  • Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive budgets and financial forecasts for various departments, projects, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with department heads and business leaders to gather input, validate assumptions, and align budgeting and forecasting processes with organizational goals.
  • Analyze historical financial data, market trends, and operational metrics to develop accurate and actionable forecasts.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budget variance analyses to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement. Including cashflow forecast.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on budget and forecast analyses, highlighting risks, opportunities, and areas for cost optimization.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and strategic planning efforts.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and dashboards.
  • Continuously improve budgeting and forecasting processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Assist Finance leaders where required.

Are you qualified?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Master’s degree or CPA/CFA designation is preferred.

Did you do this before?

  • Experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, or related roles.
  • Experience in FMCG is a plus.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Hyperion).
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting methodologies, and forecasting techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines, managing multiple priorities, and adapting to changing business requirements.
